The dream of establishing a unique and trend setting music company does not come easy for this once homeless determined young man. Tago tells stories of unbearable days of starvation, cold nights and constantly working in excess of 20 hours a day. Stories which are definitely not for the fainthearted. A journey which could have broken him instead turned into resolve to pursue his passions. A desire to manufacture quality music that has never wavered.
Adera Tago’s love of music started at the early age. His mother describes him as a joyful, bouncy toddler. Always dancing and catching on to every song. A habit that would eventually turn into his passion, drive and tenacity. Although his teenage years were rough, he learnt at an early age to stay focused, to use his talents wisely and set his goals on a higher level. Goals that would lead him to pack his bags and with .25ct in his pocket. He would move back and fourth between the rough streets of New York but eventually settling in Atlanta, GA to pursue his American Dream.
Before long, Mr.Tago became a sought after DJ, a great producer, clothing line designer, club owner, top promoter, restaurateur and much more. Always climbing that ladder with the sole purpose of building relationships to be able to finance his life long dream.
To understand Tago Music Factory, you have to understand Tago the man. Good quality music takes me on a utopic journey. When a song gives me a nostalgic moment, I cherish the priceless moments as a child listening to the great melodies, anthems and how artists back in the days would race to have the most amazing songs. Despite growing up iin extremely poor circumstances, I have always loved the city life. I grew up around diverse cultures which allowed me to embrace music from all cultures. My brain is clogged with great music from all 5 continents from the 50's all the way to our present time. This gives me a limitless amount of experience of creativity without the bounderies brought about by the ignorance of racism, ethnic and age boundaries.
To me, music is one of the 4 elements on life essentials. Music is like food; Music is like air; Music is like water. Without music, your soul is dead.”
